## Anatomy of the Board
%%- [ ] ADD IN DIAGRAMS%%
![[Lets-Vennt-Zones.png]]
The action on the board takes place in 7 zones:
1. Red
2. Green
3. Blue
4. Yellow
5. Magenta
6. Cyan
7. White (aka Stairway to Sevenn)
---
## Game Rules
### Objective
- You are a team; everyone wins if you collectively make a stack of 7 activity cards in the central zone (zone sevenn, aka the “Stairway to Heavenn”).
- Any given card that you choose must be either something that you would usually not:
- do at all, or
- do together in this trio.
### Setup
1. Lay the game board on a flat surface.
2. Have the prompt cards and sand timer within easy reach.
3. Distribute the red, green and blue whistles to the players.
### Game Phases
#### Board Phase
- Gameplay proceeds clockwise.
- Players take turns to make one move at a time and then rotate the spinner card to point at the next player to their left.
- A legal move is any move in which you move a card through^[On any go, you may move the card either inwards or outwards, representing consenting or de-consenting to the activity, respectively.] the bubble boundary line that is the colour of your whistle^[Your own coloured bubble boundary line is the line that is either red, green or blue, depending on which colour you were allocated at the start.] whilst not crossing the coloured bubble boundary lines that are the colours of the other players’ whistles.
##### Example Turns

> The easiest way to learn what moves you can make is by seeing them happen with your own eyes.
%%- [ ] ADD IN ANIMATED KRITA GIFS OF ALL THE MOVES%%
#### Activity Phase
When a card reaches the Stairway to Heavenn (Zone Sevenn), this triggers the group activity that is written on the card.
- Start the sand timer.
- All players perform the card's activity together.
- If at any moment they feel that they are not sure whether they want to continue, any player must blow their whistle, which means to pause to activity to give them a moment to feel into whether to pause or to move on. Even if someone decides to end the activity, it still counts as one of your sevenn cards towards winning.
- When the timer expires, return to board (leave the activity card in Zone Sevenn).
- Commence another board phase.
